Raised in rural Nebraska, Sara Bucy is a self taught jewelry artist and owner of Handmade Modern in Lincoln and Brownville, Nebraska. She relies upon her training in theatre and architecture as a basis for her design process. Her work is influenced intensely by the natural landscape, the built environment and our interaction with both. Sara strives to re-interpret her surroundings into minimalistic ornament.
